About Tabitha
Associate in Science (A.S.)
Dual degree in Biological Sciences (B.S.) / Anthropology (B.A.)
I have prior experience as a teaching/research assistant, experienced in working with students.
I have taken several hours of coursework in various subject areas including biology, anthropology, chemistry, geography/physical sciences, history, English, Spanish, physics, mathematics, and more. I have excelled in nearly all areas and have spent countless hours assisting and tutoring struggling peers/friends along the way!
Biology and related subjects are my strong-suit, but I can also be a HUGE help when it comes to other subjects like editing English/History papers, teaching intermediate-level Spanish, working out math or chemistry problems, and more.
I also believe STRONGLY in the importance of organization, planning, and scheduling when it comes to success in school/college! Very experienced in handling a CRAZY commute/school/work schedule and have developed some SERIOUS time-management skills.
ALWAYS HAPPY to assist when it comes to facing basic organizational or planning struggles! I CAN totally relate...After all, I DO know what it is like to be a STUDENT! .

I approach each topic by reviewing what is already known or familiar about a specific subject, then I/YOU the STUDENT will pose questions about ideas or topics that are unclear or that YOU NEED/WANT to focus more attention on, and what YOU the STUDENT hope to gain by the end of the lesson.
We begin by summarizing/ overviewing important key concepts before delving deeper into the course material.
Middle/high school/university level course material - preferred
I recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago, looking into pursuing graduate school in the next few years to fulfill my careers goals of becoming a university professor/researcher.
