About Emily
I've been giving after - school help for about a year with dozens of students of various ages maturity levels but I have developed many test-taking, note-taking and study skills that I have been using for years of success. Power-point lessons with supplemented materials are preferred. Practice problems from materials online are often great exercises. Sometimes a new approach or just a little more practice can do wonders.

Future full-time teacher with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Creative Writing looking to gain more experience for professional resumé and help students or adults with clarified classic and unique new approaches to understand difficult concepts and gain problem solving techniques which can be applied to all test-taking, essay writing and skill sets. I have experience tutoring 1st-4th graders for a year, but I graduated high - school with a 4.07 GPA and AP college credits so I believe I can help teach most subjects. I have 4.5 years of high school and college French language experience which I still practice with friends. My degree is focused on English and Creative Writing but I can also teach journalism, grammar, literature critique, reading, essay and thesis writing. Other Subjects in which I had multiple courses of experience include math courses like statistics, pre-calc & finite calc, European, American, and Art History, Philosophy or Ethics, Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Communications, Environmental Studies and more! Just ask, I've probably Aced it.
