About Jenna

Hi, I'm Jenna! I am a professional vocalist, pianist, and musician based in downtown Toronto, with over 10 years of experience teaching music. Having studied at Humber College and York University, I bring both musical knowledge and practical experience to my teaching.

As an experienced performer and educator, I strive to create a welcoming, supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new concepts, and developing their skills at their own pace.

Whether you're just beginning your music theory journey or looking to strengthen your musical foundations, I look forward to helping you build confidence, deepen your understanding, and discover the joy of music!

About the lesson

With over 10 years of experience teaching piano, voice, and music theory, my goal is to make music theory engaging and practical! I use Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) theory materials to provide a structured foundation. We'll go through concepts such as note reading, rhythm, scales, intervals, chords, and harmony.

As both a pianist and singer, I bring theory to life through demonstrations, listening exercises, and examples from familiar and current songs. Students learn not only how musical concepts work on paper, but also how to hear and apply them in real music. Lessons are tailored to each student's pace.

My lessons are ideal for beginners and anyone starting their music theory journey, whether you're learning alongside piano or voice lessons, working through RCM theory levels, or simply curious about how music works. My aim is to help you build a strong foundation, grow in confidence, and discover a deeper appreciation for the music you love.
