About Alana
I am a vocal coach and early years music educator with a Degree in Music and a Master’s in Education, and over 15 years of teaching experience. I currently teach with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB) and have extensive experience working with Kindergarten and elementary students, as well as teaching music education to children ages 4–12. With a strong background in vocal performance and pedagogy, I specialize in developing healthy vocal technique, musical confidence, and a lifelong love of music in young learners through engaging, age-appropriate instruction.

Vocal Lessons
My vocal lessons are tailored to each student’s age, ability, and goals, focusing on healthy vocal technique, confidence, and musical expression. Lessons develop breath control, pitch accuracy, tone, and performance skills in a supportive, encouraging environment. Whether beginners or developing singers, students build strong foundations while discovering their unique voice.
Early Years Music Classes
My early years music classes are engaging, playful, and developmentally appropriate, designed to nurture a lifelong love of music. Through singing, movement, rhythm, and listening activities, children develop musical skills, coordination, language, and social confidence. Classes are grounded in early childhood pedagogy and create a joyful, inclusive space for young learners to explore music.
