OFFERING YEAR 7-10 ENGLISH, VCE ENGLISH TUTORING ️IN 2025

Hey everyone!

I’m Maggie and I’m offering limited spots for English tutoring in 2025. Having achieved a top score in English without having done Units 1/2, I quickly found that success in English is less about rewriting essays over and over again, and more about planning essay prompts, being familiar with the rubric, and knowing how to adapt responses to different prompts. As your English tutor, I will focus on these key areas and more during lessons, in addition to offering round-the-clock support to answer questions and mark essays outside of class.

About me
- Graduated from The Mac.Robertson Girls’ High School in 2023, an academically competitive selective school
- Achieved top 2.5% (raw 44) in the VCE English cohort, with all A+ on SACs and final exam
- Over 100 hours experience tutoring English
- 2nd year Civil Engineering and Commerce (Finance major) student at Monash University in 2025
- Working with Children’s Check

What to expect
- Weekly lessons available in-person and online, both 1-on-1 and group classes (max 2-3 in a group). In-person lessons will be conducted at Monash University library/south-east suburbs
- Extensive bank of resources, including sample essays, practice exams and English guides
- 24/7 support outside lesson time to answer questions and provide detailed essay feedback
