About Hamda

I’m Hamda, a UofT architecture student at the Daniels Faculty with hands-on experience. I collaborated with architects and engineers to design and model a building for Omar Gandhi Architects, where my sauna pavilion was chosen as the proposed design. My studio drawings have also received high praise from industry reviewers, with no critical comments. I offer thoughtful, experience-backed guidance to help you succeed in design school and beyond.

About the lesson

As an architecture tutor, I focus on helping students develop strong design thinking, clear project narratives, and confidence in their creative process. I know how overwhelming studio can be, so I aim to make complex ideas feel approachable and exciting.

My approach:

- Personalized feedback based on your project goals and learning style

- Help with concept development, diagrams, drawings, models, and presentations

- Support with portfolio preparation and design critiques

- Software guidance (Rhino, Adobe Suite, etc.) when needed

A typical session includes:

- A quick check-in to understand where you're at

- Discussion of your current project or challenge

- Feedback and guidance on design, layout, or ideas

- Visual brainstorming, sketching, or software help

Who this is for:

- Architecture students (First year undergrad or high school applicants) who are working on a portfolio or preparing for design school and those who want extra support on studio projects or presentation techniques. As well as those who are completely new to these softwares.
