About Karla
My pedagogy is centred on the needs of the student. This means I remain flexible and pragmatic in the manner of my teaching, striving to adopt techniques and patterns of learning most suitable to the abilities and aptitude of the student. As part of this, I start things off with an open conversation with the student and a needs assessment. Together we will devise aims and objectives, methods of assessment, and a weekly or monthly routine that works well for you and your schedule.
This will entail deciding on the level and/or formality of Spanish desired. Perhaps you want to revise and brush up on your Spanish for GCSE or A-Level Spanish; perhaps you seek to sustain casual conversation when speaking with Spanish friends or colleagues; perhaps you need to learn formal Spanish for business purposes. Whatever the reason, I can cater to your needs!
I have been using this bespoke approach, with great success, for over the last seven years. Indeed, I have taught a variety of age groups and levels, and continue to benefit from high recommendations from satisfied students.
