About Gabriela
I have been tutoring for about 5 years now. I genuinely love helping my students understand the material, and carry the motto of the local company I work with in Charleston of striving to get the student to the level where they do not need my assistance anymore. I have been a part of the Capabilities LLC team since the summer after my sophomore year of highschool in 2017. Prior to this year I continued assisting Capabilities (located in Charleston, SC) by conducting virtual sessions, which were plentiful during COVID. I graduated from highschool at Academic Magnet with about 43 transferable credits and attained the Palmetto Fellows Scholarship. I am now a senior at Clemson University and am part of the Honors College and currently hold a 3.81 GPA. My schedule is very flexible and I look forward to helping your student :).
As cheesy as this sounds, I truly love seeing the progress my students make and building a connection with them.
I went to Capabilities LLC for ACT/SAT assistance and fell in love with the community, so when my practitioner who is also the owner, asked if I would be interested in being a part of her team I naturally said yes.
I have been an academic practitioner for the past 5 years.

I review the material they request assistance with in advance, and I work on it with them when we meet. Prior to the meeting I will ask for their grades to familiarize myself with their average level of understanding on the subject.

I do not want to put a strain on anyone, but I request $35/hour. However, if that is difficult let me know, and we will figure something out. I do not want any student to struggle in school due to lack of individual attention, cooperation from the school, or etc.
