About Shayla
I love seeing students how students become so proud of themselves once they finally understand something they have been struggling with. It also makes me happy when I see the children having fun while learning because everyone knows that if they find the subject boring, they are not goi NY to want to listen so it brings a smile to my face knowing that they are learning but also having their fun time
I am a competitive athlete and aspire to become a physician assistant so majority of time and even life I have been specializing in science. I specialize in anatomy and nutrition and I would not mind at all to actually teach students different sports and the rules and how to play. Being an athlete is going to help me understand the human body better for when I become a PA but I also want to teach children about what is healthy and unhealthy while also having fun

Usually I would introduce myself and get to know the student so we can have a bond. I would than ask them what they are learning and see where he struggles, once he begins to struggle that is when we take a few steps back and re-learn whatever is they are studying up to the point where he/she is struggling. Once they understand we continue but if they are still having trouble we will keep taking steps up while I use different techniques to see which works best for them
I have worked mostly with younger students, children that are in elementary and middle school I also do have some experience working with kids who have ADD and ADHD
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think students should tell their teacher whatever they need to know because the more we know about the struggle the better we can figure how to help and every teacher will always want to help their student.
