About George

I am an online Spanish tutor.

I have used tutoring as a part time job for the last 10 years.

I have acheived an A* in both GSCE and A-Level Spanish qualifications.

I use various methods to teach Spanish speaking and writing.

My methods include pronunciation techniques, class exercises and fun games if people wish!

I can teach any level of Spanish from Beginner to Advanced.

In the past I have taught a range of students; from people preparing for exams and focussing on literature, to students looking to learn conversational Spanish.

I have taught all age ranges from 15-50.

I am completely bilingual in Spanish and English which makes me the perfect Spanish tutor.

I grew up in both England and Spain given my bilingual upbringing.

I love teaching people about the Spanish language and culture and enjoy seeing fast results.

Given my billingual upbringing, I have always taught as a part-time job. I find it interesting and fulfilling. My native English and Spanish makes me a particular effective tutor given my expertise in both languages.

I have achieved the top grade, an A*, in Spanish A-Level and GCSE. I also have past experience tutoring as a part-time job.

About the lesson

Working with a new student, I first like to assess their ability. Once I know their ability and understand their goals, I set out a target and plan for the course. If the student wishes to take lessons over a couple of months, I would set out a plan of each lesson and the key takeaways.

I have taught students from 10-70 years old and ranging in level from Beginner - Advanced.

Look for a teacher who can cover your set of goals and looks approachable. Price is also important as some tutors overcharge for the same work!

Spanish politics is extremely interesting right now as Pedro Sanchez looks to change Spain dramatically. The tensions with Barcelona and Catalunya adds to the uncertainty.
