The first step is to learn about you as a learner. After learning about your learning preferences, we want to make sure that we understand your goals and how we can best meet them. Are you studying to pass a class? Are you studying for fluency? These can determine our next steps.
I have worked with students of all ages and almost all backgrounds.
I would suggest that a student find someone they can relate and connect to. You do not want someone who will just provide you standard lessons. That will not help you learn the material. You want someone who can teach to you, not just teach the subject.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are your goals? How do you learn best? Have you struggled in this subject before? Why?
