About Hannah
Hi! My name's Hannah and I study Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business. I am a first-generation Dominican American with English being my native language and advanced proficiency in Spanish. Throughout high school, I've tutored my classmates & younger children locally with subjects ranging from Biology, Grammar, Algebra/Geometry, Spanish, etc. If you are looking for an upbeat, patient person to help your kids with homework or test prep, I am a great fit for you! Also, because I am relatively young, I am up to date on all the trends amongst youngsters (so if your kid likes watching Tiktoks and Youtube videos, we would get along great!). With my experience in tutoring my peers and younger children alike, I believe that I would be the perfect tutor to assist your child's academic needs.
I have a high school diploma and am currently studying Finance at New York University's Stern School of Business. Throughout high school, I've tutored classmates and younger children locally in subjects ranging from Biology, Grammar, ALgebra/Geometry, Spanish, etc.

My strategy for teaching English would be to go over the main grammar rules and do many practice passages/sentences until they have these rules ingrained into their brain. For subjects like math, I would show them how to do whatever problem they were having trouble with and then do more examples of similar problems afterward.
