About Cristina

I've been in your shoes.

You've taken Spanish or English courses before but you still feel like you don't know enough, what you learn is not relevant to the everyday conversations you want to have, you can think of what to say but as soon as you open your mouth you freeze or say something no one understands...

That happened to me when I was learning English and French and from my own experience, I know that what you need is someone to talk to.

I will teach you vocabulary, grammar rules, and pronunciation by having casual conversations with you. Instead of memorizing rules and exceptions, I will adapt to what you need and want to learn so that you can communicate in your day-to-day at your job, school, or hobbies.

Let's chat!

I'm a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, fully fluent in English as well.

As a native Spanish speaker living in North America, there's a lot of interest to learn Spanish and learning it in a conversational way, outside the classroom, and adapted to people's everyday life.

I'm a native Spanish speaker and English is my second language. I have been through the process of learning new languages and can give practical advice.

About the lesson

I adapt to what the student wants to learn, what is relevant to their day-to-day, and will be helpful in getting them communicating quickly.

I have worked with university students wanting to learn Spanish.

Make sure the teaching style adapts to your needs and try to look for someone you will feel comfortable and get along with. Learning a language happens more quickly through conversation so find someone who can be like a friend to talk with.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What's their teaching style? will they teach me by-the-book grammar rules and standard vocabulary, or will I learn vocabulary I can use every day and topics relevant to me in a more casual setting?
