About Hilda
I love being able to teach my students the basics of Spanish, so they can engage in a basic conversation with a Spanish speaker. Practice is essential in learning a new language. I believe in the immersion method as the best approach to learning a new language. Engaging in real life scenarios is also critical in order to learn the essential vocabulary of a new language. Spanish is my first language and I prefer to teach those basic skills.
I am a Certificated Bilingual Teacher (BCLAD). Spanish is my first language and I have taught English as a Second Language, Spanish and Multiple subjects to elementary school students. I have worked for 32 years with the Los Angeles Inifirdf School District.
