About Marlene
Hi, I'm Marlene and I am 20 years old. I graduated from Highschool in 2020 and am studying to become a per diem court interpreter. I decided to start my own small tutoring business in conjunction with my part-time weekend job with the goal to sustain myself, but also to help others in the process. Being raised to speak Spanish I can speak, write, and read with fluency. I provide advanced level Spanish tutoring for middle school, highschool, and college levels. I am willing to travel to students with the proper mask accomodations and will provide my vaccine card if asked to. I can also have the tutoring sessions via Zoom if it is outside my radius.
Being a young student myself, I understand that having not only a knowledgeable tutor but a personable and relatable tutor makes all the difference in the learning experience- and I can promise you a relaxed, friendly, and comfortable atmoshphere.
I enjoy seeing improvement in the student's progress with the language their learning. I believe that if somebody truly believes they can properly learn and excel in said languages with the right guidance, then they ultimately will. It brings a smile to my face to see students proud of themselves for their improvement.
