About Maria

The part of my job that makes me happy and satisfied is knowing and seeing that my students are enjoying learning with me, that they will progress day by day with many aha moments! Having fun and communicating their needs it's very important to me.

What makes my service great is that I keep it simple, I'm very flexible and accommodating of my students needs. My lessons are targeted to the student. No lesson it's the same for everyone, "no cookie cutter" for anyone!

Communicating what your needs are, will help me taylored your individual lesson and help you learn faster!

Everyone can learn, if they put their mind and effort into it.

I teach in a regular classroom in a public school. 20 years ago I started working in a school and I enjoy teaching students my first language.

Major in Spanish and minor in Interdisciplinary Studies at Texas A&M Commerce.

Master of Science in Educational Administration Texas A&M International University.

About the lesson

I'd like to do a quick assessment first, through conversation, maybe a writing part, depends on the level of the student.

I have work with teenagers betwwen 15-18 and working adults, including teachers that want to to talk to their students in the classroom.

To take it seriously. I will help you throughout your learning process, but all depends on the student’s effort. Be patience with yourself, you can learn at tour own pace!

I just graduated with my master’s degree and I’m excited to become an administrator🥰

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
How much do I need/want Spanish in my life.

Can I commit to a time to get with the teacher and learn.

How long can I commit for classes.

So responsive. Also made learning fun for my son and helped him apply what he learned. And his grade improved as a result.
