About Dawn

I am extremely flexible and down-to-earth! I learned from the patience and flexibility of others and am passionate about assisiting anyone and everyone interested in broadening their horizons through Spanish. Whether you are planning a trip, aquiring a new professional skill, or simply desire to converse with others who speak Spanish, I can reassure you that it is not impossible. You can teach an old dog new tricks, and you should never be afraid to learn from your mistakes!

After traveling around most of South America and learning Spanish, my world was opened to the bridges one can build through learning a new language. I have always enjoyed working with children, adolescents, as well as adults in a less formal educational setting. All of my experiences and professions have involved teaching to a certain extent; whether with a classroom of 2nd graders in Honduras, to one-on-one tutoring for kids in China, to a youth group of adolescents in church or camp, I have always enjoyed modeling the knowledge I have aquired in life.
