About Giliana
Hi! I'm Giliana born and raised in Venezuela, Moved to United states back in 2015 after getting my B.A. degree major in Political Science and Law. I currently work as a paralegal but my real passion is language, I taught myself how to speak english in only 1 year living here with only one rule LISTENING! and I now have a different prespective of what language really is and how our brain works, It's as simple as knowing how to say the same thing in two different ways (It's similar to when you eat mexican food and ask for Queso instead of cheese). My big accomplishment would be to see my students leaving behind all the stress of perfection and making spanish fun and most importantly useful for their future. I use different teaching techniques for effective training such as asssesments through games and movies/music, encourage my students to read and listen spanish conversations and contansly change class setting to keep them engaged with the class.
