About Carolyn
Hello there! My name is Carolyn. I am 24 years old. I reside in Yuba City, California. I am a Liberal Studies Major, currently attending Chico State University full time online with the goal to be an elementary teacher. I have been tutoring for 3 years with 6 years of educational experience with YCUSD. I enjoy working with students from grades Kinder to 5th grade, but most preferably Kindergarten. My teaching philosophy is that learning is a lifelong journey. As a tutor, I make it my top priority to tend to the child's needs, to tutor according to the methods they learn best, and to always make each session better whether if it means building a better relationship with the child or making academic growth. The things I enjoy about working with children the most is building rapport with them and watching them grow and learn new things. It is always the joy of seeing them make progress regardless of all difficulties.
