About Elizabeth
I enjoy working with readers of all ages. I create individual programs to meet each persons unique needs. I fill in the holes that people are missing in order to read well. I teach skills that enable them to store information and access the information easily, which contributes to executive functioning skills. I have a double major Bachelor of Science in Education and Dyslexia Certification. I have taught Special Needs and Regular Education and currently have students from 7 years to 19 years with my oldest student 34 years old.
I spent 8 months in 2020 without teaching kids and missed them a lot. I really enjoy seeing the 'lightbulb' come on when someone gets it! I have been teaching since 1975.
I started babysitting at 9 years of age and then went into teaching.
Many, many years of experience and continuing education classes. Bachelor of Science-Education double major Special Needs and General Education Preschool through High School. Trained in 160 hours of Autism Education.

Just about any age and ability.
Hire a tutor who thinks outside of the traditional public education box but in the traditional subjects and one who has fun and engages with children.
Spending time with my Mom and Dad whom are 88 and 90 years old. Times with family. Playing with my dogs. Completing a Christmas stocking kit for my daughter-in-law. I have made 17 so far.

Details
Usually $50 an hour. Client pays for missed or cancelled sessions due to me reserving their time slot. A week of summer vacation is not charged. I get paid through the Venmo app.
