We absolutely LOVE ❤️ what we do!!!
I grew up knowing that I wanted to be a teacher (I even made my brother "play school" lol). Through high school and college I worked in various positions at a residential school. After college I stayed there until I found a teaching job. I was SO excited to finally be living my dream!
My online tutors are trained in research-based reading programs such as Wilson Reading, Orton Gillingham, Reading Simplified, and more.

The family will set up a time to talk with me about what is going on with their child. I ask them to send any assessments and their child's IEP for me to look over so I can become familiar with their child and their needs. We then meet with the family on a Zoom call and answer any questions they may have. After the meeting I look at my awesome team of online tutors to see who I feel will be a good match for their child.
We work with students with Dyslexia, learning disabilities, autism, ADHD, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Executive Functioning weaknesses, & many more.

I am fond of talking to a previous student who is now in college to be a teacher and credits me for being one of the most influential people in her life.

I entered her class with a kindergarten read level in fifth grade. By the time I left her class, I was reading on grade level and soon reading and writing became my strongest area of academics. She taught me how to look for different solutions to a problem. Giving up was never an option but looking for a new path to the solution was one of the most important skills I ever learned from her. It's because of her that I am now in college. She always the right level of encouragement, pushing, and acceptance that allowed me to grow.
