About Carina
This year is particularly difficult to keep students on track with school work. And parents struggle with their own jobs as well as having to teach their children at home. I am here to alleviate that stress and help out. I am certified in General and Special Education for 1st to 6th grade. I am here to make learning fun this summer! My goal is to make up for the lost time of the pastfew months and get your kids back on track while having the most fun doing it :)
I love watching that little light go on in a childs head when they finally understand a topic. It makes me feel like i have made a difference in that child's life.
I am a certified teacher. In both General and Special Education. I have 4 years of teaching experience in both general and special education classroom environments.

Initially I like to be in contact with the student's teacher to assure that I am addressing all educational needs of the student. I also like to be sure we are using similar if not the same strategies to address these needs as best I can. The first time meeting with a student I like to build a relationship and start with all of the fun stuff. After they become comfortable we can add in the academics and begin crushing goals together!
