About Danielle

As a licensed 7-12 Science teacher and K-12 Intervention Specialist, I meet the students where they are on a topic and use direct instruction to present the information in clear, consice terms that are easy to understand. This is my eleventh year of teaching diverse students.

I have a Master's of Education for Special Education and am pursuing a second Master's of Education for Integrated Science from University of Findlay.

About the lesson

When I begin working with students, I like to talk with them about what the students feel are their strengths and weaknesses and the areas that they feel they need to focus on the most. In an early session, I like to assess the students' abilities to complete problems to judge the best place for them to start.

My students' have been diversified in background, prior eduction and abilities. The key is meeting the students where they are and the best strategy for them to understand the information.
