About Mason
I have been tutoring for about 1 year, and I am a first-year student at McGovern Medical School (UT Houston). My experience as both a student and teacher help me quickly identify with my students and address their needs. My sessions have more of a "peer-learning" feel than that of a "student-teacher" relationship. Thus, I often have little tips and tricks which I or my classmates employed during my schooling.
Tutoring is a fun experience for me because I enjoy connecting with my students. As a fellow student I enjoy the challenge of learning a new subject and I find it even more exciting to help someone learn a subject which I have already mastered.
It was the most interesting job I could think to do before I began medical school.
I have been tutoring for about a year and I am a medical student a UT Houston. My experience as a tutor and a student help me to offer a different perspective than most other tutors. I have spent many hours studying and I have been exposed to lots of different learning methods which can uniquely benefit each student.

High school and college students
In my experience, the first step to tackling a difficult subject is to identify where you are struggling. If you can do this then you make the tutor's job easy!
