About Michael
Ive been involved in the IT industry for over 5 years now, most of what I have learned is self taught. Especially when it comes to day to day operations of applications like Word, Excel, Teams and Zoom I'm your guy.
I went to school for physics and mechanical engineering and I'm currently going back for more. I love computers and deal with high end server and networking issues daily as my main job.
I started helping students at my University, and later at the school I work at on a helpdesk basis. I learned to teach others how to use computers and applications on the job.
I am a system admin for a school system of over 1500 students. I teach, and live all the products I teach on a daily basis.

Always start with what they need to learn, then explain a process of what blocks need to be built to get there. Ask the student if they agree, and amend the plan based on feedback. Teach what i know as best as I can, and leave plenty of time for questions and reteaching. Often times teaching one thing in multiple ways works wonders.
Everyone from school aged children to seasoned professors in everything under the sun related to computers.
Make sure they are a right fit for you. It makes no sense to pay good money if your dont get more than that value in return.
I was able to walk a parent through a lengthy process using multiple Microsoft and Adobe products for her childs assignment all entirely over the phone.
