About Steve
Steve Ruark, an award-winning, Baltimore-based photographer, provides assignment photography for leading news outlets, businesses and nonprofit organizations. He enjoys sharing his love for photography with enthusiasts of all levels of experience.
I enjoy sharing what I know about photography with others so that they may effectively share their unique perspective of the world around them.
I have been taking photographs since I was in high school nearly 25 years ago and I have been working as professional photographer for about 20 years. Along the way, I have helped many people with their cameras and their photographic vision.
I have a Bachelor of Science in Photojournalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. I have worked exclusively as a photographer for 20 years.
