About Zakaman

Although I scored a 1430 on the SAT, 720 on math and 800 on writing for the SAT IIs, i studied Cinema Televsion Production at the University of Southern California. After working in LA for nearly a decade in post production, the camera department, and in live TV broadcast, I got my Master's of Fine Arts in Animation & Visual Effects in Compositing and am familiar with programs like Nuke, Maya, Substance Painter, PFTrack and Adobe Suite. If you have a media question related to software or not, chances are I'm your man! People have always told me that I have a gift for teaching. As an instructor and a student, I have always tried to boil down the essential information in the most cogent way possible. Don't spend hour looking for some esoteric technique online. Ask an expert and get the specific answer you're looking for taught to you quickly only accompanied with the most pertinent information

It is fun, challenging and no day ia ever the same. If you're looking for an industry where your creativity is only bound by your imagination (and to some extent, technical skills) then this is the work for you. Whether you're just interested in becoming a Photoshop power user, want to learn how to edit your own content, are interested in greenscreen and compositing programs like Nuke, or want to explore 3d applications and capabilities, do not hesitate to contact me!

I am all for helping students learn in ways which are most effective to them. Whether you are a visual, auditory, or anecdotal learner, I believe that anyone can learn anything!
