About Yvonne

12 years experience as a sports photographer.

Currently capturing newborns every month for their first year of life.

I absolutely love the look on the face of my clients when they see the finished products/images from our session. I love freezing time for parents who have just had a new baby. I love capturing the look of wonder in a graduating senior's face.

Clients who have used my services as a photographer, asked me to teach them the basics about their digital cameras that they purchased and had no idea how to use.

1. Courses taken from instructors from Maine to Paris.

2. PPA courses.

3. 12 years experience as a sports photographer with a local newspaper.

4. 12 years of workshops at photography conferences.

About the lesson

1. Assess the new student's capabilities to learn and assess their current level of photography.

2. Make a lesson plan tailored to the student's wish list

3. On hands learning, out in the field.

4. Answer questions while teaching basics.

5. Critique the day's images captured.

High School seniors, for their coursework, and mother's of student athletes.

Don't base your expectations to learn on how much you will pay. Also: there is no way you can learn in a one hour class what a teacher has learned over the course of 12 years. But, know that even this teacher started where you are starting at one time.

I just captured the 10th month of a baby boy. I am shooting him every month for his first year.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do you want to learn first?

What are your realistic goals?

Are you willing to commit to practicing what you learn?
