About Susan

Based near Orlando, Florida, award-winning photographers and gifted teachers, Susan and John Francis are both professional photographers, and have over 50 years of photographic experience between them. We enjoy giving back to the community through our photography. Susan does Life Reflection photography for the Hospice of the Comforter, and we both photograph for Flashes of Hope (providing memorable portraits of kids with cancer and their families). Susan and John have owned and operated Harmon’s School of Photography for over 11 years, and have taught hundreds of students in that time.

Whatever your learning needs, and however you learn most effectively, Harmon’s School of Photography is your gateway to becoming a better photographer.

Having taught hundreds of students over the past 12 years it brings me great pleasure and pride to see them go on and create beautiful images. Some of my students have even gone on to become professional photographers! I love sharing the joy of photography.

I have a degree in Visual Communications and am a working professional photographer.

About the lesson
