About Sheryl
My specialty is how to capture excellent, unposed photos for portrait. I also work with people on getting amazing portaits of their pets.
I have had a passion for photograpy since I was just a little girl. In 1984, while in journalism school, that passion was fueld even further. After retiring from teaching in the public schools I have turned my time to photography. I work with students on photo composition to lessen the need for editing and I will help students get comfortable behind the lens.

Te first step is to have them show me photos they consider to be their best work. I then ask them what makes that a good photo. Depending on what type of photography the student wants to work on I will work with them on the best way to achieve that particular type of photo. We will take into consideration lighting, composition, black and white v color photo, and purpose.
