About Elyssa

I have been shooting professionally for about 8 years now. I received my degree in commercial, digital photography in 2011 from Nossi College of Art. I am one of three product photographers for Kirkland’s, and I have been now for five years. I am very experienced in shooting with both natural and artificial lighting. I am also familiar with Canon and Nikon gear.

I have a degree in commercial digital photography. I have shot several weddings, events and portrait sessions and I specialize in product photography and editing in adobe photoshop.

About the lesson

I first go over the basics, to familiarize the student with his/her camera. I then take them around a “practice shooting space”, usually a park or other public area that has pretty spaces available. I let them practice shooting for a few minutes and then I look at what they’re achieving and ask if they have any questions and/or give them pointers on how to achieve the look they are going for. I also offer lessons on editing in adobe photoshop.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What goal they are trying to achieve. What style of photography they like.
