About Edward
I started off my teaching career giving 1-to-1 basic Spanish classes with students at home, but over the last couple of years I have been teaching online, meaning I have had such diverse students as a migrant Latvian worker in England, an IT sales executive in Tel Aviv, a 6-year-old prodigy in Indonesia and countless classes of Vietnamese adults of varying abilities.

It sounds a little crazy, but I love my language and I want to share it with the rest of the world. Sometimes simple, often complex, but always rich, diverse and rewarding, English is my passion and I love explaining its many aspects with eager students, whether it is basic grammar and pronunciation or advanced vocabulary and regional accents. My knowledge of languages, linguistics and philology is extensive, but I am keen on keeping things accessible, relevant and interesting when I teach.
