About Zoe
I love music, and getting into the nitty gritty of music theory brings me so much joy! I am a violinist and guitarist and have been studying music theory for 5 years now. All throughout highschool I was at the top of my theory classes, and in senior year I scored a 5 on the AP music theory exam. Moving into college, I was able to test out of all of my freshman theory classes, so now I am enrolled in sophmore level music theory.

I got started teaching beginner violin students. Often, I would have to explain theory concepts along with technique.

I typically do a preliminary evaluation to analyze a student's strength an weaknesses.
Thusfar, I've only worked with beginner students.
I would advise looking for someone who has a lot of enthusiasm for the subject because that makes the experience much more engaging.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think through what basic ideas and concepts they are weak in because building off a strong foundational knowlege is crutial to going to higher levels of theory work.
