About Alexia
My service stands out because I love to work with kids and I understand how hard it can be to learn during covid, as I am a student. I am currently a student at Seton Hall University and am working towards a degree in elementary and special education.
I started teaching when I was 16 in different programs at my highschool. In my junior year, I worked with a preschool program to create lesson plans and help the students in the classroom. I also got to visit schools in my area during my senior year of highschool where I got to aid the students as they were learning.
I am a freshman at Seton Hall University studying early education and special education. I also did a program through my highschool where I got clinical experience with students from elementary schools in my area.

I want to start by learning what the student is struggling with and by learning about their best learning style. Sometimes in schools students do not get to learn with their preferred method of teaching but it is important that students have a more personalized learning experience. After learning the student's struggles and preferences I will usually create a plan to start working through the subject.
I have worked with elementary students, mostly preschool through first grade students.
