About Kimberly
Math is a fun game of numbers; you just have to understand the simple concepts of solving the game.
I graduated from Primary and Secondary level of education with Grade A in Mathematics. I further pursued higher level of education and attained a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, from which i attained A's in mathematical related courses.
During my time in school, I used to tutor my friends and classmates who struggled with Math issues and it was always encouraging to see their eyes beam when they finally got it!
My goal is to apply my mathematical knowledge to specialize in helping and guiding students with the ability to solve mathematical problems. I look to educate and motivate students to learn to love math not by memorizing, but by understanding.
I found myself doing a lot of tutoring sessions at University which led to the idea of finding student with challenges in mathematical courses i had already done. By doing so, I broadened knowledge as well as skills equipped to offer training services to my peers.
I also begun to tutor my little cousins and assisting them with their homework, which reflected positively on their academic performance.
My academic status in Mathematics was excellent throughout my Primary School, High School and University. I therefore tutored during my years in school, where I took the time to help my friends and classmates especially with their Math problems.

I usually aim to have a sense who the student is based on their likes, hobbies, aspirations. This allows the student to warm up and feel comfortable to openly communicate during the learning sessions. I also get to know what are the math challenges they are facing and how I can help the student face these them.
I have worked with students who are my peers and well as young students in middle school.
I would advise a student to hire a teacher who is passionate and result-oriented. The teacher should understand your strengths and weaknesses in order to steer the learning process tailored specifically to the student.
Math is a subject that requires time and patience and therefore, identify a teacher who is flexible, affirmative and self-driven will definatelty lead the students to understanding and possibly, loving Math.

The student should think about what they really what to achieve from the tuition session and be open minded to learning.
