About Nolen
Hi! My name is Nolen, and I’m currently a civil engineering student at Penn State University with a strong background in mathematics, physics, and problem-solving. I’ve always enjoyed helping others understand tough concepts — whether it’s breaking down calculus problems, explaining how fluid dynamics works, or showing how to apply formulas step by step until it finally clicks.
As a tutor, my goal is to make every session clear, engaging, and confidence-building. I focus on helping students understand the “why” behind the problem — not just memorize formulas — so they can apply what they learn on their own. I’m patient, detail-oriented, and I love turning challenging material into something that feels simple and manageable.
When you work with me, you can expect a supportive learning environment where questions are always welcome. I’ll meet you at your level, go at your pace, and make sure you walk away with a stronger grasp of the material (and maybe even start to enjoy it).
With my engineering background and tutoring experience, I’m confident I can help you reach your academic goals — whether you’re preparing for a big exam, catching up on classwork, or just trying to finally make sense of calculus or physics.
