About Elizabeth
My six children can tell you that where some people have music or art in their souls, I have math. I have loved it for as long as I can remember! With a BS in Statistics and an MS in Biostatistics, I worked as a statistician on a medical study for a couple years, but chose to stay home when I started having kids. When my first child was a toddler, a friend asked me to help her daughter with her 7th grade math for a few weeks. It didn't take long to discover that I loved finding the holes in her knowledge and helping her fill them. Since then, I have tutored as a volunteer in all my children's schools and I have privately tutored dozens of other students at every level from kindergarten through all HS math classes, as well as college and graduate level statistics courses. Helping people understand math is both my passion and my superpower!
