About Ja-far
Welcome to Elie your premier tutoring service in your device! (my name is Ja-Far, though. Yes, like Aladdin haha) With a focus on personalized education, I specialize in Math, Speech, Reading, Writing, and Test Prep tutoring. I’ve been in honor roll classes from elementary to junior high, all while being raised by my mother who IS a teacher. With my mother as a connection, I gained work for the NYC DOE as a Teacher Assistant and even became a T.A. for a non-profit called BCS. I have experience with kids from Kindergarten to Eighth Grade. Despite being a one-person operation, my commitment to individual attention ensures that each student receives tailored instruction to meet their unique needs and goals. If there’s a will, there’s a way! I’ve helped students with special needs show more attention towards their studies, molding them into a better scholar. Whether you need quick, concise help or in-depth, methodical teaching, I’ll be dedicated to fostering confidence and excitement in learning. Join me and experience the difference personalized tutoring can make!
