About Amber
I am a 4th grade teacher and have been teaching this grade level for 7 years. Previously, I had experience with teaching, informally, at the preschool level for 8 years. I am certified in Elementary Education K-6 and Students with Disabilities. I also have my Master's degree in Reading with Emphasis in Elementary Education. I hold my Reading Specialist certification. Online learning is not an unfamiliar platform for me as I have also taught with VIPKID for 2 years.
I can help students with a variety of skills from improving reading ability to their math facts/skills. I enjoy elementary education, children are becoming independent learners and critical thinkers. I want to see your child build their confidence and achieve their goals! Together we can do this!
I began working at a preschool when I was 16 and decided to enter into the teaching field.

Our first lesson would be a get to know you. I would like to hear from the parent about the needs of their child in class. That gives me a good starting place to build a curriculum.
I have worked with students from the preschool level to 10 years old. I have also taught students with mild disabilities.
