About Timothy
I am currently a Junior at New York University. I got a 1490 on my SAT, 790 Math Subject II Score, took 6 AP classes, and had a 3.8 GPA in high school. I put an emphasis on teaching students HOW to study, rather than simply focusing on what to study. This allows students to develop the skills needed in order to succeed in the future without the use of a tutor.
I enjoy instilling great studying habits in my students. When I was young, I had trouble developing these habits and would simply rely on my memorization skills to excel at school. As I started getting older, I was able to develop and utilize essential tools that I think are vital for every student to learn before going off on their own to college.
I started off helping my younger cousins and found a true passion for helpeing students succeed and develop important educational habits early on in their lives.
I took a variety of AP Courses in math, psychology, science, and history in high school. I got a 1490 on my SAT with a 790 in the Math 2 SAT Subject Test. I'm currently a Junior at New York University and have taken a variety of courses in various subjects ranging from writing to math to science.
