About Jason

Hi! My name is Jason. I have five years experience in the public schools here in Texas. I taught 3rd grade all subjects for 4 years and 6th grade math(pre-algebra) for 1 year. I specialize in the basics of math from elementary to basic algebra. I can customize lessons to suit your needs, whether it be homework help or extra problems to get ahead of the class or just to catch up. Let's set some goals and I will help you get there. What areas of math do you need to improve in?

About the lesson

I start by asking what areas in math the student would like to improve. If it is current classwork, I ask for samples such as homework, textbook, etc. Then together we find an attainable goal to achieve and make a tentative schedule that works for both of us.
