I look forward to talking w/ you about how we can help your child reach his/her academic goals!
I love teaching and helping students realize they are capable of doing hard things. I can help students achieve their goals in learning how to read, or learning how to do math, or become a better writer, or a better student. I am able to make learning fun!
My family is full of teachers! I always wanted to be a teacher from a very young age. I always played school as a child.

I have my Generalist - Special Education K-12, as well as K-8 Elementary Education. I have worked as a Special Education teacher since 1996. I have also tutored since 1992 for students that were not part of this population and just needed an extra boost in school. I have worked w/ many different types of students over the years and loved them all.

Tutor tech took my less than confident child and gave her the confidence to try and succeed. She learned valuable lessons in how to study and was able to apply them throughout her scholarly career.
Laurel is an amazing teacher. She’s been helping us for three years and the positive impact that she will have on my daughter’s education will last her entire life. We are so grateful to Laurel!
