About Shiyeon
Hello, everyone! My name is April, and I am excited to be your online tutor. In my capacity as a student at Yonsei Underwood International College, I have had the privilege of teaching math, science, Korean, and English for many years. I also have additional experiences as to conducting lectures at both camps/academies/colleges. Most of my past classes have been focused on getting students prepared for tests such as GED, SAT, AP, AMC or managing their Gpas overall.
Other class such as essay writing, Korean, Toefl, ielts, book clubs, olympiads are available so feel free to leave any inquiries.
To create a positive and engaging learning environment where students feel confident in asking questions and challenging themselves to learn new information is at the core of my teaching philosophy.
A variety of teaching methods are used in my classes, including interactive presentations, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Every student has a unique learning style, and it is my responsibility to adapt my teaching method to meet the needs of each student. As a tutor, my goal is to help you achieve your academic goals and develop a love for learning.
