About Miriam

I am new to this website but have been an Education Coach with over twenty years of experience guiding students to academic success. I hold a Master of Science degree, a Master-NLP Practitioner Certificate, and a Teaching License. My teaching methodology is patient, thorough, and effective.

After spending seven years at home taking care of my children, I learned the importance of providing focused and intentional care for young children. I decided to pursue a career in teaching and applied for a Teacher Alternative Preparatory Program using my degrees in Biochemistry (BSc) and Food Science and Technology (MSc). In addition to obtaining my teaching license, I continually studied to earn endorsements in Reading, Mathematics, Science, English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Teacher Support and Coaching. Throughout my teaching career, I have successfully mentored new teachers and led various departments and projects within the school.

I hold a Standard Teaching Certificate/License issued by the Professional Services Commission in the State of Georgia. I have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a Master of Science degree in Food Science & Technology.

In addition to my degrees, I possess several endorsements including ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages), Mathematics, Reading, Science, and Teacher Support and Coaching. I am also a Certified Master NLP Practitioner with a Coaching Endorsement.

About the lesson

As a new student, you will undergo an entry assessment that will help us identify your specific needs. Our instruction is tailored to effectively target those needs and propel you beyond your current level of performance.

Once we have determined your needs, we will share a plan of instruction based on your school curriculum and/or the Common Core Standards. We aim to accelerate your success by bridging all learning gaps and advancing your skills to the next level.

The Georgia metropolitan area boasts a diverse population. I have experience teaching students of all backgrounds and needs, including children and adults.

If you are looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise, I would advise you to consider a few things.

Firstly, look for someone who has a strong academic background and relevant experience in the field.

Secondly, try to find a teacher who has a teaching style that suits your learning style. A good tutor not only has content knowledge but also possesses diverse instructional skills. This will help you grasp the concepts more easily and make the learning process more enjoyable. It is best to be at ease while learning.

Educational Coaching:
