About Larissa

About Me

With a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Graphic Design and my Teacher Certification, I've spent years teaching general education to elementary students (grades 2–5) and art to learners from kindergarten through high school. I bring three years of tutoring experience to help students just like you.

What I Love About My Work: I'm passionate about helping students overcome challenges and witnessing those "lightbulb moments" when everything clicks. There's nothing more rewarding than seeing a student gain confidence and make real progress.

What Makes My Tutoring Stand Out: I'm patient, kind, and I believe every student learns differently. I use visual learning techniques to break down complex topics into clear, easy-to-understand steps. My graphic design background helps me create visual explanations and examples that make learning stick. Plus, my flexible tutoring system—with pre-session questionnaires, file uploads, and offline essay review—means we can work in whatever way works best for you.

How We'll Connect: When you sign up, fill out a quick questionnaire with your subject, grade, and specific question. You can attach documents, images, or screenshots, or upload essays ahead of time for offline review. We'll meet using Google Meet or Zoom. I'm here to help—reach out anytime!
