About Mary
I am a retired elementary school teacher who taught for 33 years. I was blessed to have been able to work at something I loved doing. I am a mother of 4 beautiful children and the proud grandmother of one amazing granddaughter. I worked as a Reading Specialist and completed graduate level courses in reading intervention. My son is dyslexic and I understand the challenges that many children and families face during the elementary school years. Using assessments and my experience I am confident that I can support your child in the furthering of their educational growth.
I love the challenge of teaching children and meeting their individual needs. I find it rewarding to help children learn.
