Sarah provided tutoring during my Differential Equations class in summer 2019. In each session, I brought the most challenging puzzles from completed take-home quizzes and exams, and Sarah walked through the thought process for each one. Along the way, she asked clarifying questions to ensure we were on the same page. Since I am a visual and kinetic learner, Sarah's style of writing out the steps for problems helped me understand the flow of thought from beginning to end. Sarah also quizzed me with different forms of equations to improve confidence on exams. Sarah's ability to explain a problem different ways and connect topics to applications in other fields, such as physics and chemistry, was interesting and engaging.
