About Shirley
For more than five-years, I trained under the Laubach Way to Reading Series to tutor adults, new or challenged readers, to acquire basic literacy skills. A perfected service that influences readers and writers of any age.
As a published author, my teaching strengths are in literature, American and European, and basic writing support.
I’ve a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications — Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles.
My teaching style varies depending on the personality of the student or the parents’ specific desires. Whether you absorb information rapidly or you require a slow, methodical pace – it’s up to you. I’ve worked with a diverse international community with a personality that is easy, open, flexible, and inclusive.
I look forward to connecting with you.
