About Crystal
Hello, I am a special education teacher with 22 years of experience working with all levels of students with disabilities.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I have endorsements in Autism and have made it my life work to help students with low-incident disabilities meet their full potential.
I gained my Master's degree in Secondary Education and Transition in 2020. This has helped me continue to help my students and families look to the future, set goals, and figure out how to progress toward those goals.
I understand what it is like to have a disability (having two myself) and how those circumstances can make learning difficult. However, I have also worked through my disabilities and found techniques that have helped me learn and grow educationally throughout the last 30+ years.
No problem is too great.
I have helped students from K-5 develop and practice their math and reading skills. I have tutored students on and off over the last 22 years of teaching.
I love helping students figure out the problems, how to address them, and how to move forward in their learning.
I will help students determine their goals and make a plan on how to master them. I what students to be excited about learning.
