About Victoria

Welcome to my profile! If you love Korean culture and would love to learn the language (and visit someday!) I am the tutor for you :). I, too, started out with a dream of becoming fluent in Korean and one day visiting the country. Since then, I have graduated with a degree in Korean Studies, participated in a number of language competitions, and even lived abroad in South Korea. I know firsthand how daunting it can be to learn a new language-- especially one very different from your native language-- and I have created a system for you to achieve your language goals FAST. It can be really intimidating to learn from a Korean person for fear of misspeaking.

I incorporate diverse learning materials when tutoring, so as to compliment any students specific learning style. Whether you need a hands-on approach to learning or a more speaking-intensive approach I will make sure to adjust my materials each lesson to make sure that you or your child’s needs are met.

As long as a student is ready and willing to learn, I am confident in my ability to help them surpass a beginner level proficiency. If you:

My favorite part of tutoring is the moment when the language or grammar structure just seems to click. It is a moment where the student realizes that, with dedication, their goals can actually be met! Whether you are driven by a need to understand your favorite Korean drama, test into an intermediate Korean class, or travel abroad-- I am excited to assist you in meeting your goals.

Korean lessons offered by Victoria are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Columbus. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
